Who We Are

Rooted in communities. Connected to a wider world.

Inclusive ARK works alongside people and institutions to create more equitable systems and expand opportunities for those too often left behind.

A commitment to inclusion, opportunity, and shared progress.

Inclusive ARK is a foundation working with communities and partners to advance equality, expand opportunity, and address the inequalities that hold people back. We were established with a simple conviction: lasting change happens when people who have been excluded from opportunity are able to shape the decisions that affect their lives.

Our work is rooted in communities and connected to evidence. We support practical action across livelihoods, learning, leadership, voice, and the systems that shape people's lives — combining community knowledge with research to inform what we do and how we adapt.

We work alongside community organizations, researchers, institutions, and funders who share our commitment to inclusion. Together, we focus on long-term outcomes — strengthening voice, leadership, and the conditions that allow people to participate fully in shaping their futures.

Why we exist.

A foundation grounded in the belief that inclusion is both a moral imperative and a practical strategy for change.

Purpose

To advance equality, expand opportunity, and address the inequalities that hold people back.

Vision

A future where everyone can participate meaningfully in the decisions that shape their lives.

Mission

To work with communities, partners, and institutions to turn evidence and voice into practical change.

What Drives Us

Five values shape every decision we make and every partnership we enter.

Inclusion

People who have been excluded from opportunity belong at the center of decisions that affect their lives.

Equity

Equality requires addressing the structural barriers that limit opportunity, not just their symptoms.

Evidence

Good evidence — research combined with community knowledge — leads to better decisions and stronger outcomes.

Partnership

Lasting change comes from working together across communities, sectors, and institutions.

Integrity

We are honest about what we know and what we don't, and accountable to the communities we serve.

Listen. Learn. Build together.

01

Listen

We begin by hearing from the people closest to the issue — their experience shapes the work.

02

Learn

We combine community knowledge with research and evidence to understand what is happening and why.

03

Build

We work with partners to design and deliver practical action that fits the context.

04

Adapt

We track what works, share learning, and refine our approach over time.

Communities are not beneficiaries of change. They are its leaders.

Communities are not beneficiaries of change. They are its leaders.

Our commitment is to work alongside the people and communities most affected by inequality — to listen, to learn, and to support practical change that strengthens voice, leadership, and opportunity.

We believe that communities are not just recipients of programs — they are partners in defining problems, shaping solutions, and evaluating success. That belief shapes how we work, who we work with, and what we measure.

Let's build a more inclusive future together.

Whether you are a community organization, researcher, institution, funder, or potential partner, we welcome opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute to meaningful change.
